‘THE RIP’© Women’s Sculpting and Conditioning
The women’s sculpting and conditioning class is an evolution of our extremely successful women’s kickboxing program we offered for nearly 15 years. Our personal experience with our own fitness development and success has brought a wealth of new information and exercises to the program and fundamentally changed it into something different. Classes are now geared towards fitness results and merely use the kickboxing skills and drills of the past to augment a more modern method of training, which uses an extremely wide variety of safe and challenging exercises.
Classes are conducted in the evenings and we call them the ‘The RIP’ (Random Interval Program) as there is nothing to sufficiently describe the nature of the classes. These classes will RIP you from head to toe if you are faithful to the method and nutritional approach. We command your total focused attention and expect you to ‘bring it’ and leave it on the mat each time you train. The ‘it’ is total effort with the intention to give your every last bit of intensity and energy you can muster… every time you train. Classes are fun, intense and should leave you feeling satisfied, to your core being, for your success and exertion. The caloric burn is AMAZING and the satisfaction can be somewhat euphoric.
The new method draws on our deep pool of martial arts experience and proven fitness training methods for changing the human body into so something lean and efficient. If nutritional education is not a part of what you do then you are missing one of the great opportunities to maximize results and use your time efficiently. We find people who want to loose weight rarely get the REAL advice they need to hear to make the life change required. It is surprising simple and a critical part of success in any fitness endeavor. We offer this information to all of our students and help them to tailor a way of eating to their particular lifestyles and fitness goals.
A wide range of ages and fitness levels can successfully accomplish classes. Everyone brings their own maximum to the class, so don’t feel like you’ll hold up the class or be held back by it. Classes change daily but generally you can expect to use traditional kickboxing moves, pre-fight conditioning techniques (no actual fighting though), dumbbells (for your fitness level), resistance bands, medicine balls, kettlebells, timing mits, kicking shields, and countless military, cardio, strength, and special forces training exercises blended into our unique approach to body conditioning.
